VIRTUAL INSTRUCTIONS

Are you ready to rock your run now that Thanksgiving week is here?! To get the full America's Turkey Trot™ ® experience we recommend you download the "America's Turkey Trot" App on IOS or Android. On the app you will be able to take and upload photos with America's Turkey Trot® filters, get all the race information you need as well as link to ASICS Runkeeper™ to claim and track your 5K or 10K!

First step in starting your virtual run is deciding if you want track your run on your phone or or manually upload your results. Once you have decided you can follow the steps for each of the following below:

MANUALLY UPLOAD RESULTS

If you plan to record your time using your watch, another software/app or tracking device and want to post manually, simply click the "Manually Upload Results" button below.

Your confirmation number and last name can be used to confirm your registration before submitting your results.

TRACK MY RUN

America's Turkey Trot® and the "America's Turkey Trot" App have partnered with ASICS Runkeeper™ so you can track your 5K or 10K right on your phone!

Click the "Track My Run Using ASICS Runkeeper™ button or scroll down this page and follow the steps to utilize the track my run functions.

Manual

MANUALLY UPLOAD MY RESULTS

  1. Go to the America's Turkey Trot Results page. CLICK HERE

  2. From the results page, click the submit a virtual result button

  3. In order to submit a virtual result, you will have to confirm your registration. To confirm your registration enter in your last name and confirmation number, or by simply signing into your Race Roster account.

  4. Once you registration is confirmed, you will be prompted to enter your results and the results of anyone else that was included in your initial registration. You are able to come back at a later time to post additional results.

  5. After your results are submitted, you will be able to view your results details and custom branded finisher certificate. Click on your name for your details and finishers' certificate.

TRACK MY RUN

STEP 1: Download the ASICS Runkeeper™ App on IOS or Android to your mobile device

STEP 2: Connect the Event and Start Your Run

  • When you're ready to participate:

    • On a mobile device, go to Race Roster to sign-in

    • On your event dashboard, scroll down the page to Virtual run

    • Click the blue button, "Connect to my app"

    • Open/Download the ASICS Runkeeper™​ app on your mobile device

    • Verify your name is correct

    • Select the Explore tab from the bottom of the app

    • Select "You have 1 active registration" (see example snapshot)

    • Select America's Turkey Trot

    • Click TRACK NOW to get started!

Additional Information:

Multiple event distances or participants under one Race Roster account

  • If you signed up for more than one distance within the same event, or signed up multiple individuals for the same event, please visit your Race Roster dashboard, select this event and then use the "Connect to App" button for each event distance or person. To send to a friend, copy and paste that connect to app button link and share it with them. 

How to record your participation with the ASICS Runkeeper™ app

Tracking with your Fitbit, Garmin, or Apple Watch with the ASICS Runkeeper™ app

  • You can track your participation using your Fitbit, Garmin, or Apple Watch. You must download the ASICS Runkeeper™ app and connect your device prior to starting your activity. Follow these steps to add your Fitbit, Garmin or Apple Watch activity.

How to ensure your activity is tracked correctly

  • Please make sure you run the full distance (to the decimal point) to ensure your result is posted. Note: if you run farther than the required distance, the ASICS Runkeeper™ app will post your fastest segment.

How to manually post your results to Race Roster

Limitations to note

  • At this time, the ASICS Runkeeper™ app is unable to link to Suunto, Coros, or Polar, but you can use your iPhone or Android.
